Hardwick Old Hall East Lodge

Holiday accomodation through English Heritage

Woodhead have recently completed a total renovation to develop the Grade I listed East Lodge at Hardwick Old Hall into first class holiday accommodation.

This major refurbishment program included the complete renovation of the lodge structure. This involved stripping out a previous early 1980s renovation, re-plastering and the installation of high quality kitchen's and bathrooms.

Woodhead's attention to detail delivered high quality decorations and fittings, offering holiday makers comfort and beautiful surroundings.

Works began in January 2009 and were completed on time and on budget in April 2009. This tight programme was managed so effectively through the lean programming adopting and the diligence of our specialist supply chain.

What The Client Said…

“I'd be delighted to work with Woodhead Heritage again. Their customer service and strong teamwork ethic makes them a delight to work with.  You feel like one of the team which is a refreshing change from the 'them and us' approach some building contractors have.

It was also refreshing to have a contracts manager in Simon Butler who was as interested and committed to getting the right final product as ourselves.”
